DAY CAMP AT A GLANCE (Aged 6 to 12)
• All art lovers are welcome – no experience required!
• Our educators are experienced professionals.
• With our small groups, we are able to provide personalized attention.
• The Museum offers a secure environment for the children.
• Daycare is free from 8.30 to 9.30 a.m. and 4 to 5.30 p.m.
• Our daily schedule allows time for play and snacks.
• There is supervised time outdoors during the lunch break.
• All art material is provided.
• Children must bring their own meals and snacks (nothing that needs to be heated).

THIS INVITATION TO DISCOVER THE WONDERFUL WORLDS OF JAZZ AND DECORATIVE ARTS INCLUDES:
• a special activity in connection with the summer exhibition
"We Want Miles": Miles Davis vs. Jazz, in collaboration
with Jeunesses Musicales du Canada!
• a clay-modelling workshop to create an animal-shaped vase
• a jewellery-making workshop in connection with the
exhibition Inspiria, a collection of luxury jewellery inspired
by Cirque du Soleil and created by one of the most
prestigious jewellers in Paris
• a portrait workshop inspired by European painting
• and many more creative activities!

MIXED-MEDIA PROGRAMME
Colour, gesture and jazz – an unbeatable combination!
A made-to-measure mixed-media programme
Teens will have the opportunity to create works in connection
with music, gesture and art in a variety of mediums, including paint, collage and drawing.
Teens are invited to spend four afternoons flexing their creative muscles. Workshops in small groups in a relaxed atmosphere.
Their sources of inspiration will include this summer’s featured exhibition, "We Want Miles": Miles Davis vs. Jazz, and the Museum’s many different collections.

COUNSELLOR-IN-TRAINING PROGRAMME
Teens are invited to take part in aunique Museum programme that could in crease their chances of becoming summer camp counsellors!
Community organizations are invited to submit the candidacy of a teenager for the training programme at the Museum’s Day Camp.
Candidates must:
• be aged 16 or 17
• show an interest in art
• demonstrate leadership abilities and a sense of responsibility
• and be available for one week, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Lethbridge Funds and the counsellor-in-training
programme should be sent to

The Merlin Fund and the Lethbridge Fund
provide underprivileged children with a
chance to develop their artistic talents.
Representatives of community groups are
encouraged to submit the names of a child
aged six to twelve inclusive who could
benefit from free tuition to the Museum’s
Day Camp.
