Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion - Level 1

One of the three largest collections of its kind in Canada, it includes examples of sculptures, glass, reliefs, Coptic textiles, Greco-Roman coins, sarcophaguses and ceramics of the ancient cultures of the Mediterranean basin. The Diniacopoulos Collection (sculptures and ceramics) on loan from the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec enriches the presentation, and certain aspects of the collection have been enhanced over the past decade by major gifts.
