Friends of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts have the opportunity to go on day tours that open up new horizons in art. These exclusive tours are often organized to coincide with major exhibitions in Canadian museums, regional festivals and major art events. Discover our cultural heritage and visit private homes and collections that are off limits to the general public. Enjoy worry-free touring: our tours are complete and include transportation, guide, guided tours, entry fees and meals. Join others who love art and culture for some memorable experiences!

The Art of the Table: A Flower Bouquet on my Table

Escape the grey days of November and learn how to create your own floral centrepiece under the guidance of Eva Gludovatz, a horticulturist and floral designer who bases her eco-responsible approach on the use of fair-trade flowers. To inspire you, this workshop will begin with a guided tour of selected works from the Museum’s permanent collection representing still lifes and flowers. Luncheon will be served.

Art and Gastronomy: Otto Dix’s Terrifying and Beautiful World

Savour a gastronomic lunch prepared by the chefs of Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, and hear Anne Grace, the Museum’s Curator of Modern Art, tell the story of Otto Dix, a complex artist who was a key figure in the New Objectivity movement.
