Youth and Pros
Wednesdays at 7.30 p.m.

Concerts are about two hours in length, with intermission.

The four concerts in this series beautifully conclude the presentation of the complete chamber music works of Johannes Brahms (1833-1897), a key figure of German Romanticism.
The next generation in concert! Intent on supporting young musicians on the threshold of their careers and giving them exposure, the Arte Musica Foundation again features this concert series that combines the irrepressible enthusiasm of youth with the experience of seasoned professionals. Each concert showcases young graduates from Montreal's great music schools, such as the recent winners of the Prix d'Europe, pianists Charles Richard-Hamelin and Tristan Longval-Gagné, and pairs them with renowned chamber musicians, like Martin Beaver, first violinist of the former Tokyo String Quartet, and Jonathan Crow, concertmaster of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
Intergenerational encounters for the best in chamber music!
Thanks to a generous contribution from an anonymous donor, this series is presented in memory of Adèle and Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer.
