TITLE
THE TIFFANY EXHIBITION: AN EXPLOSION OF COLOUR
THAT REVEALS A PIECE OF OUR MONTREAL HERITAGE

Developed and produced by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts,
Tiffany Glass – the first exhibition on Louis C. Tiffany (1848-1933)
of this magnitude to be presented in Canada – focusses on this
master glass-maker’s outstanding contribution to the design and
technology of glass. His daring creations are celebrated for the
spectacular effects of colour and light he achieved. The exhibition
features 180 works, including a wide range of glass vases in
incredible shapes, a series of spectacular lamps, some paintings,
mosaics, enamels and jewellery, as well original drawings from
the Tiffany studios and period photographs.

Visitors will also get to see – presented at eye level for the first
time – a valuable piece of our Montreal heritage: a set of unique
Tiffany stained glass windows. Recently restored, these exquisite
stained glass windows, which are now part of the Museum's
collection, are one of the most remarkable aspects of this exhibition.
Their presentation is a veritable tour de force, both logistically
and technically.

A stunning exhibition not to be missed!
