Acrylic Painting with a Focus on Colour and Light

Welcome to the Museum’s School of Art for 6-week classes!

Fridays, April 24 to May 29
1.30 to 4.30 p.m.

Whether abstract or representational, the key to a painting’s impact is the quality of light in the work. This course will focus on giving a more vibrant sense of light to your paintings through your use of colour. Through presentations, we will look at various colour choices in paintings. The class will concentrate on the various qualities of colour and how to create colour palettes for your paintings to heighten their impact. Some acrylic painting experience is necessary.
