Presented in original multilingual version subtitled in French.

BOTERO is a poetic behind-the scenes chronicle of the life and art of Fernando Botero, an intensely private painter and sculptor. Viewers will be inspired to see his commitment to a unique artistic vision power his rise from provincial Colombia to become “the Maestro,” still active in his studio at 86 years old. This film was shot in 10 cities in China, Colombia, France, Italy, Monaco and the United States. BOTERO the documentary offers a unique opportunity for us to get up close and personal with a living legend. He is the greatest living artist with the highest number of museum exhibitions, the greatest number of books published about him, the greatest international appeal and with the greatest number of people attending his exhibitions. 100 major museum exhibitions in more than 40 countries, 4.7 million visits in three years. One of his sculptures is right in front of LHotel on St-Jacques Sreet in Old-Montreal.
