FIDDLER: A MIRACLE OF MIRACLES (original English version)

Presented in original English version.

FIDDLER: A MIRACLE OF MIRACLES is the origin story behind one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals, Fiddler on The Roof, and its creative roots in early 1960s New York, when “tradition” was on the wane as gender roles, sexuality, race relations and religion were evolving. It includes interviews with the Broadway show’s Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning lyricist Sheldon Harnick, legendary producer Hal Prince, original cast members, such as Austin Pendleton, as well as rare archival footage of choreographer Jerome Robbins. The documentary also features Lin-Manuel Miranda, Harvey Fierstein, Fran Lebowitz, and Chaim Topol, who starred in the film adaptation.
