With a specific work of literature as a starting point and using a step-by-step process, design an illustration by letting an image emerge from the text. Idea sketches and stylistic sketches, along with exercises in drawing and colour will evolve into a final illustration using mixed media.

List of materials needed: pencils, eraser, sharpener, pen, brushes, watercolours or coloured inks, sketchbook, pad of watercolour paper, tape, ruler, scissors, xacto knoife, white glue
In order for the classes in the Museum’s Art School to be stimulating for both the participants and the instructor, we require a minimum of 5 students for a class to run. If there are not enough registrations, we will contact you as soon as possible to suggest either an alternative class or give you a total refund.
General Public: $200
VIP’s and those under 30 years old: $180
Refund policy: A full refund, minus a $50 administration fee, will be issued for cancellations received up to 10 days prior to the start of the activity. No refunds are issued for cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the activity, unless the cancellation is made for reasons of force majeure. In such case, please contact us to obtain a full refund.
