Learn some of the many techniques of watercolour that allow you to get all those marvellous qualities of transparency and opaqueness. A beautiful medium that artists such as Cézanne, Turner and Van Gogh practised with breathtaking results.
Instructor: André Pijet, artist and Art Educator
André Pijet moved from his native Poland to settle in Quebec in 1988. His training in fine arts and photography, along with his innate talent for drawing, soon led him to a career as an illustrator, caricaturist and cartoonist. He is well-known for his book illustrations and for his work as a graphic artist and art director. His works have been featured in several major exhibitions, earning him a number of international prizes.
Art materials needed for the course – If you have any questions about the material, you can discuss it with the instructor on the first day. Bring the minimum on the first class or what you think you may need.
-Watercolour paper (a pad of Fabriano of at least 8.5X11)
-Watercolour brushes with a reservoir for water
Students will be given a list of materials over the course of the class. You can also bring a kit of watercolours, but hose on cake form and not in tubes

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your class and use the Group Entrance at 2200 Crescent Street.
Cancellations made seven (7) business days or more before the first class for which you registered will be refunded in full, less a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than seven (7) business days before the activity begins, unless the cancellation is made for medical reasons, in which case a doctor’s note is required and fees will be refunded in full.
