Welcome to the Museum’s School of Art !

Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 34
9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Learn special techniques on painting your immediate environment.  Light, perspective, textures and creating atmosphere will be on the menu in this exciting class.

Instructor: Helena Vallée-Dallaire, artist and art educator

List of materials needed:

Acrylic paint in the following colours : Ultramarine ; Light Naples yellow ; Sienna  ; Titanium white Alizarin crimson  ; Transparent Oxide red ; Viridian green  ; Optional: Viloet-grey, Cerulean blue ; Canvas or prepared board between 8X8 and 18X24 inches

The artist can supply aluminum panel pre-prepared with gesso for $22.00 per panel- please inform the artist beforehand  Artist’s palette

In order for the classes in the Museum’s Art School to be stimulating for both the participants and the instructor, we require a minimum of 5 students for a class to run. If there are not enough registrations, we will contact you as soon as possible to suggest either an alternative class or give you a total refund.

General Public: $200
VIP’s and those under 30 years old: $180

Refund policy: A full refund, minus a $50 administration fee, will be issued for cancellations received up to 10 days prior to the start of the activity. No refunds are issued for cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the activity, unless the cancellation is made for reasons of force majeure. In such case, please contact us to obtain a full refund.
