The Proverb as a Source of Inspiration for a Visual Composition

Welcome to the Museum’s School of Art !

Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7
9.30 to 4.30 p.m.

Using proverbs from Quebec and around the world, participants will reflect on the role and function of proverbs. They are often metaphorical and full of imagery and will become a source of inspiration to create a collage composition. 

Instructor: Marie-Denise Douyon, artist and art educator

List of materials needed:
Drawing papers, card, old newspapers, magazine, posters, glue, scissors. Optional: Coloured crayons, felt markers, water based paints.

Refund policy: A full refund, minus a $50 administration fee, will be issued for cancellations received up to 10 days prior to the start of the activity. No refunds are issued for cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the activity, unless the cancellation is made for reasons of force majeure.
