Ligeti Festival

Credit

To mark the centenary of his birth, the Ligeti Festival pays homage to celebrated Hungarian composer György Ligeti (1923-2006), whose catalogue figures among the most original of the 20th century. During this two-day event, joined by leading experts and outstanding performers, discover Ligeti’s creative world, from his youthful forays into composition inspired by Hungarian folk traditions through to the radical experimentations of his later years.

Acclaimed pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard will be this special event’s guest of honour.
