JEWISH VOICES

From the Trio to the Sextet

This carefully designed concert by the Israeli Chamber Project – an ensemble of six musicians (string quartet, clarinet, and piano) – traces the history of Jewish identity expressed through chamber music. Karl Goldmark’s European Romanticism, Aaron Copland’s quintessentially American spirit, and the unique language of Bernard Herrmann (made famous through his collaboration with Alfred Hitchcock) are heard alongside the music of prolific Israeli composer Shulamit Ran.

This program was produced with the support of the Israel Lottery Council For Culture & Arts
