Welcome to the Museum’s School of Art!

Welcome back to the Museum’s School of Art! We are finally back to in-person classes and all our instructors are thrilled to be in workshops with you. We are carefully following government guidelines to ensure the studio spaces are safe and are grateful for your collaboration in keeping them so.

Fridays, October 22 to November 19, 10:30 a.m.to 1 p.m.

Instructor: Mary Hayes, artist and art educator

Discover – or rediscover – the magic of watercolour painting! Watercolour is a unique and versatile painting medium. Learn colour mixing, brushwork and a variety of watercolour techniques with simple exercises and inspiring projects. No prerequisite is required.

To simplify your participation, the instructors have prepared lists of supplies you will need for the class, along with their Omer DeSerres product codes. After you have ordered them online, they can be delivered straight to your home by DeSerres or you can pick them up at the store. Prices vary according to the products you select.

There is a minimum of 5 participants for each series. If this number is not reached, the series will be cancelled.

Cancellations made seven (7) business days or more before the first class of your registered workshop will be refunded in full, less a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than seven (7) business days before the activity begins, unless the cancellation is made for unavoidable circumstances, in which case fees will be refunded in full.
