The guests will discuss the exhibition’s various themes: voice, breath and relationships with others. The artist will present his Last Breath (Último Suspiro) project, designed to preserve and circulate a human being's breath forever. For the exhibition, he captured the last breath of Nicole Brossard, creating a rhythmic, biometric portrait of the poet, shown together with a video documenting the exhalation.

Rafael Lozano-Hemmer is a media artist from Mexico who has lived in Montreal since 2003.

Nicole Brossard is a Quebec poet, novelist and essayist.

MMFA Chief Curator Mary-Dailey Desmarais is the curator of the exhibition.

The conversation will take place in both French and English.
