In this creative drawing class, you’ll use your imagination to create drawings of fantastic creatures combining the features of different animals with those of humans or other animals — insects, birds or fish. After this workshop, in which you’ll get expert advice and guidance in techniques with various drawing media, as well as watercolour, your drawings will be so well rendered, they’ll look as if they’re about to jump off the page!

Instructor: André Pijet, artist, caricaturist and art educator

SCHEDULE

Wednesdays, October 12 to November 9
10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

About The Museum's School of Art
Now that we are well into fall with Thanksgiving celebrations behind us, it’s the perfect time to sign up for one of our workshops and explore your creative abilities. Our senior artist instructors will provide expert guidance on a variety of techniques, which range from the classic, like Japanese calligraphy, to the more unusual, like drawing and sculpting hybrid creatures.
