In the spirit of a safe resumption of activities in the context of the pandemic, the Education and Wellness Division has decided to offer an abbreviated online program of our most popular workshops through the Zoom platform (link coming soon).
Saturday and Sunday, November 21 and 22, 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 to 4.30 p.m.
In this weekend workshop, you will learn the methods of portrait drawing in the beaux-arts tradition, using pencil. Topics will include where to start, how to achieve a better resemblance, how to a sense of volume and how to create an atmosphere. This class is adaptable to all levels of practice, from beginner to more experienced.

To facilitate participation, our instructors have ordered materials kits through our partner DeSerres, which you can purchase on-line and have delivered to your door or arrange to pick up at a DeSerres location. Prices vary according to the selection of materials.
There is a minimum of 5 participants for each series. If this number is not reached, the series will be cancelled.
For administrative purposes, we ask that you inform the instructor of a cancellation at least seven (7) days before the first class of the workshop. Cancellation policy: Cancellations made seven (7) business days or more before the first class of your registered workshop will be refunded in full, less a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than seven (7) business days before the activity begins, unless the cancellation is made for unavoidable circumstances, in which case fees will be refunded in full.
