In the spirit of a safe resumption of activities in the context of the pandemic, the Education and Wellness Division has decided to offer an abbreviated online program of our most popular workshops through the Zoom platform.
Fridays, November 20 to December 18, from 1.30 to 4.30 p.m.
For ventilation reasons, the Museum has never been able to offer oil painting classes in its facilities, but the current circumstances afforded an opportunity to add it to the fall schedule. When working with oils in your home, be sure to open the windows – even if the products you are using are odourless! The instructor, Areg, is a master in oil painting techniques. If you’ve always wanted to try the medium, this is your chance!
Instructor: Areg Elibekian, artist and art
To facilitate participation, our instructors have ordered materials kits through our partner DeSerres, which you can purchase on-line and have delivered to your door or arrange to pick up at a DeSerres location. Prices vary according to the selection of materials.
There is a minimum of 5 participants for each series. If this number is not reached, the series will be cancelled.
For administrative purposes, we ask that you inform the instructor of a cancellation at least seven (7) days before the first class of the workshop. Cancellation policy: Cancellations made seven (7) business days or more before the first class of your registered workshop will be refunded in full, less a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than seven (7) business days before the activity begins, unless the cancellation is made for unavoidable circumstances, in which case fees will be refunded in full.
