In the spirit of a safe resumption of activities in the context of the pandemic, the Education and Wellness Division has decided to offer an abbreviated online program of our most popular workshops through the Zoom platform (link coming soon).

Saturdays and Sundays, December 5 and 6 and December 12 and 13, 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 to 4.30 p.m.

Learn the basics of head proportions in order to model a realistic generic head in clay. Should you eventually like to master portraits or the self-portrait, this is a great place to start, as you will receive with pointers from a master sculptor!

Instructor: Marcello Giorgi, master sculptor and art

The price includes the clay, the caliper and the armature (wooden base, metal pipe and flange) necessary for the modelling of the clay head. This material will be available at the MMFA. You will be contacted to schedule a date and time if the minimum capacity of 5 participants is reached.

For administrative purposes, we ask that you inform the instructor of a cancellation at least seven (7) days before the first class of the workshop. Cancellation policy: Cancellations made seven (7) business days or more before the first class of your registered workshop will be refunded in full, less a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than seven (7) business days before the activity begins, unless the cancellation is made for unavoidable circumstances, in which case fees will be refunded in full.
