This intensive course explores the expressive potential of ink and charcoal. Students will experiment with tracing, layering and contrasting techniques to develop their technical mastery and their ability to add depth and texture to their work.

The course focuses on creating dynamic compositions, with an emphasis on the figure in context, textures and the interplay of light and shadow.

Instructor: Naghmeh Sharifi, artist and art educator

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Materials: All the basic materials are supplied and included in the registration price.

Reservation terms: Workshops with fewer than 5 participants will be cancelled.

Cancellation policy: Refunds are available in full up to seven (7) business days before the first class, minus a 20% administration fee. Withdrawals less than seven (7) business days before the activity begins are non-refundable unless due to exceptional circumstances, in which case participants are reimbursed in full.
