A two-day workshop for beginners to advanced pastel artists. On Day 1, participants will learn underpainting techniques using various approaches and complete an abstract colour study. On Day 2, we will begin a pastel painting, taking your choice of still life set-up or landscape photo provided by the instructor as inspiration. We will work on composition, colour and pastel application techniques to achieve brilliant colour layering, texture and harmony.
