Inspired by the MMFA’s virtual Art Hive, the Golden Art Hive is a free online community workshop for Museum Members aged 65 and over. Each week, participants will enjoy discovering a different facet of the Museum’s collection and take part in a creative activity led by a mediator and an art therapist. They will also be invited to share their reflections on the artworks presented, enjoy moments of well-being and connection, and explore their creative side at their own pace. Participants can use whatever materials they have on hand, and our dynamic team is happy to help everyone find inspiration.
You will receive a first reminder by email 24 hours before the start of the activity, followed by a second reminder 1 hour before the start. These emails will contain participation instructions and the Zoom link. If you register less than one hour before the start of the activity, you must contact us by phone to obtain the Zoom link.
