Welcome to the Museum’s School of Art!

In-person classes are back and our instructors are eagerly awaiting being in the studios with you again. We are strictly following government guidelines to ensure the studio spaces are safe and are grateful for your collaboration in keeping them so. To simplify your participation, instructors have prepared lists of the supplies you will need, available from our partner DeSerres, along with their product codes. After you have ordered them online, they can be delivered straight to your home or picked up at one of the DeSerres stores. Prices vary according to the products selected.

Fridays, March 18 to April 22 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Exceptionally there will not be a class on Good Friday, April 15)

Watercolour is a unique and versatile painting medium that can be taken anywhere. Learn about or strengthen your understanding of brushwork, paint consistency, edge control, transparencies and colour with simple exercises and inspiring projects. For all levels.

Instructor: Mary Hayes, artist and art educator

Cancellation policy: Cancellations made seven (7) business days or more before the first class will be refunded in full, less a $50 administration fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than seven (7) business days before the activity begins, unless the cancellation is due to unavoidable circumstances, in which case fees will be refunded in full.

There is a minimum of 5 participants (maximum of 10 participants) for each class. If the minimum number is not reached, the class will be cancelled.
