The WKSHP 15-20 is designed for teens and young adults aged 15 to 20. It’s a hybrid, multi-purpose space with a lounge area, library and big tables for all sorts of creative activities. Themed workshops are held there every Wednesday (from 4 to 6 p.m. or 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.), as well as every other Sunday (from 1 to 4 p.m.).

With the guidance of the mediators who lead themed workshops, those taking part explore various practices, ranging from the studio arts to photography, using the materials and equipment (paints, felt pens, clay, a screen-printing unit, cameras and so on) made available to them. Works from the MMFA collections serve as starting points for their creations, which allow them to express themselves on issues relating to young people and culture today.

Covid-19 Measures. The WKSHP 15-20 will be respecting all public health measures in effect to ensure everyone’s safety and pleasure. For this reason, there will be a limit of 8 places for each activity.

Vaccine passports

A vaccine passport or other proof of vaccination is not required to visit the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts or its Boutique and Bookstore. Nor is such proof required to participate in any of the educational activities offered in the Museum’s galleries or studios.
