Conversation

As social assemblages, museum collections have an impact that reaches far beyond institutional walls, as these constructions influence how we perceive the history of a museum’s geographical space. The written materials in a museum also play an essential role in the transmission of discourse. For example, the choice of words for exhibition panels is vitally important, as descriptive texts are a key method of conveying different types of knowledge to the public.

Panelists : Nuria Carton de Grammont, Cheryl Sim, Webster et Hanieh Ziaei.
