MAKING ART ACCESSIBLE TO ALL: A PRIORITY

Thanks to your donations, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts continues to offer more free access to its collection than any other museum.

Close to 200,000 families, schoolchildren and adults from all walks of life participate in the innovative educational and cultural programmes offered by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

Studies show that arts and culture, like sports, reduce dropout rates and help kids succeed in school, in addition to contributing to everyone’swell-being. More than ever, museums are seen as alternative learning places that complement the education system.

The Museum has expanded over the years to meet a wide range of needs. Today it is a true arts hub in the heart of the city
