With great joy and pride, the Arte Musica Foundation, in residence at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, presents its 7th season at Bourgie Hall.

Looking back at our accomplishments since the inauguration of Bourgie Hall in September 2011, it is clear that the Arte Musica Foundation has become one of the foremost disseminators of classical music in Quebec today. In fact, no other institution offers such a vast array of choices—close to 100 concerts this year!—as varied and as peerless in quality. Knowledgeable music lovers, less experienced concertgoers, the young and not-so-young, jazz aficionados, chamber music enthusiasts, fans of the piano or the voice: there is something here for everyone!

Our 2017–2018 season builds on continuity. We pursue established feature series—the complete cycle of cantatas by Bach, concerts linked to Museum exhibitions, or spotlight series on great composers (Mozart this year)—and welcome a host of renowned ensembles and musicians from Canada and the world, including Les Arts Florissants, the Tallis Scholars, Tafelmusik, Charles Richard-Hamelin, the Labèque sisters, and Ian Bostridge, among many others.

Known everywhere for its acoustics, architectural beauty, and its magnificent collection of Tiffany windows, Bourgie Hall is an exceptional venue in which to enjoy the concert experience. The Arte Musica Foundation’s loyal public is growing every year, conquered by the hall’s convivial, intimate atmosphere, an essential factor in creating optimal listening conditions and exciting interactions with performers. Pure joy to everyone involved!

We look forward to welcoming you in great number, and we can’t wait to surprise and amaze you!
