MIRACLE AT THE MUSEUM

To celebrate the first anniversary of the Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion for Peace, the Montreal Museum of Fine Art (MMFA) is granting free access to its galleries throughout the Holiday period. The pavilion is the setting for the outstanding donation of the Montreal collectors, the pavilion, which comprises more than 750 works of international art from the Middle Ages to today displayed over 6 floors, including masterpieces by the Old Masters.

Miracle at the Museum also includes free access to our collections of Quebec and Canadian art, decorative arts, contemporary international art, the cultures of the world and to the discovery-exhibitions:

  • Wool War One

  • Woman. Indigenous. A season at the Museum, devoted to female Indigenous artists.
Kushapetshekan / Kosapitcikan – A Glimpse Into the Other World
    Nadia Myre.
Tout Ce Qui Reste – Scattered Remains

  • Mnemosyne: When Contemporary Art and the Art of the Past Meet

In addition, free activities will be offered to families, including concerts, creative workshops and film screenings. An ideal opportunity to marvel at the benefits of art with your nearest and dearest!
