Birthday Workshops

A party at the Museum

kids birthday party at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

Make your child’s birthday a memorable one by choosing one of our three birthday workshops.

1. In the mind of an artist

What goes on in the mind of an artist looking for new ideas? By taking part in activities that will pique their imaginations, your children will find that out along a merry tour of modern artworks, Then, it will be time to experiment with Spin Art, a unusual painting technique that’s full of surprises and definitely fun!

2. Creatives in the bud

Welcome, painting lovers! Children will play at being artists through learning about the artworks in the Museum’s Quebec and Canadian Art collection. The tour will be punctuated by short creative exercises in front of the works, and then by an easel-painting workshop. It’s sure to spark your children’s creativity!
