Synopsis

Evelyn Wang is at her wits’ end: she no longer understands her family or her job, and is swamped by tax bills… Suddenly, she finds herself plunged into the multiverse – parallel worlds where she explores all the lives she might have led. Faced with dark forces, she alone can save the world and protect the thing she holds most dear: her family.

Guest artist: The illustrator Felipe Arriagada-Nunez, aka Chien Champion

The screening will be followed by a discussion with the guest artist to contextualize the choice of film in relation to their journey of identity and artistic development.
