To mark the opening of The Torlonia Collection: Masterpieces of Roman Sculpture, the MMFA invites you to a conversation (in French) between Carlotta Loverini Botta, Director of Fondazione Torlonia, and Laura Vigo, curator of the Montreal exhibition.

They will discuss the history of the collection and Fondazione Torlonia’s eagerness to enlighten North American audiences to the secrets of these ancient marble sculptures.

The short film Torlonia Marbles: Sculpting a Legacy, dir. Agostino Osio (in English), will be presented at the beginning.

WITH:

Carlotta Loverini Botta, Director, Fondazione Torlonia

Laura Vigo, Curator of Asian Art, MMFA
