Decorative Arts and Design

The MMFA houses one of North America’s largest and most important decorative arts and design collections. More than 800 objects are on display (silverware, ceramics, furniture, jewelry, textiles, glassware, and craft and industrial design objects), created by over 400 designers, artists and artisans from around the world.

Discover the collection through the expert eyes of one of our Volunteer Guides, who will lead you on a tour of some of their favourite objects and artworks. Eager to share their passion and knowledge, our Guides favour a dialogue-based approach in which participants are invited to share their thoughts and impressions.
