As part of Autism Awareness Month, people with autism and their families are invited to come and explore the Museum before it opens its doors to the public.

This inclusive initiative, designed specifically for neurodivergent people, allows you to enjoy the Museum’s spaces and activities free of charge and in a calm environment.

PROGRAM

From 8:30 to 10 a.m.

  • Wander peacefully through the Museum’s galleries on levels S1 and S2 of the Jean-Noël Desmarais Pavilion
  • Let yourself be inspired by the works in the collection to make fantastic paper sculptures
  • Experiment with various materials in the creative atmosphere of the Art Hive.

Starting at 10 a.m.

  • Head off to explore the Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion for Peace.
    Please note that the Museum will be open to the general public starting at 10 a.m.
  • If you like, you can borrow a Sensational Supplies Pack

At 11 a.m.

  • Enjoy a screening of the animated film Space Cadet in a calm environment at Cinéma du Musée.
    Paid admission for the film. Reservations required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This offer of free admission is for families, which we define for this purpose as: one to four adults accompanying one or more neurodivergent persons.

This admission offer is valid for all the pavilions and exhibitions on view, with the exception of the major exhibition. Please note that between 8:30 and 10 a.m., only the galleries on levels S1 and S2 of the Jean-Noël Desmarais Pavilion will be accessible.

Reservation terms: Spots are limited and reservations are required. Please reserve one spot per person.
