In this conversation, artist Hannah Claus and fashion designer Ying Gao will discuss topics important to them by revealing the concepts underlying the works they have in the exhibition. At the same time, their sharing of their respective artistic practices will resonate with the general themes arising from the exhibition. The conversation will be moderated by curator Mary-Dailey Desmarais.

Hannah Claus is a Canadian transdisciplinary artist of Kanien’kehá:ka and English ancestries.

Ying Gao is a Quebec fashion designer and professor at the Université du Québec à Montréal.

MMFA Chief Curator Mary-Dailey Desmarais is the curator of the exhibition.
