Take advantage of three preview days reserved exclusively for MMFA Members and be among the first to see the new exhibition Chiharu Shiota: The Soul Trembles.

The Soul Trembles is the largest solo exhibition ever dedicated to the Berlin-based Japanese artist, who is celebrated for her large-scale immersive performances and installations made with red, black or white thread.

These spellbinding works have been featured in hundreds of exhibitions around the globe, and now you’ll have an opportunity to see them as well.

ON THE PROGRAM

  • Wednesday September 23, from 1 to 9 p.m.
    Gallery guides will be on hand from 1:30  to 4:30 p.m. and from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Thursday September 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Gallery guides will be on hand from 10:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m.
  • Friday September 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Gallery guides will be on hand from 10:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m.
