To mark the opening of the exhibition Kent Monkman: History is Painted by the Victors, the Cinéma du Musée and the MMFA, in collaboration with the International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA), will present a series of short films directed by the artist.

The screening and discussion will be moderated by Léuli Eshrāghi (a member of the Sāmoan clans Seumanutafa and Tautua), who is Curator of Indigenous Practices at the MMFA, and co-curator of Kent Monkman: History is Painted by the Victors, along with John P. Lukavic, Andrew W. Mellon Curator of Indigenous Arts at the Denver Art Museum.
