Design is all around us!

This exploration invites us to take a closer look at how every object around us is the culmination of a deep thought process regarding its design, and at how artists and designers draw inspiration from materials and ideas to turn ordinary objects into extraordinary creations.

During the visit, the students discuss the artist’s creative process, sources of inspiration and choice of shapes and materials, before moving on to design their own small functional object using air-dry modelling clay.
