Early to Modern International Art

The MMFA’s international art collection is unique in Quebec for its scope and quality, and is among the most important in Canada. It includes works from the Middle Ages to the present day, and reflects major movements in art history. Some 500 artworks from this collection are displayed over four floors.

Discover the collection through the expert eyes of one of our Volunteer Guides, who will lead you on a tour of some of their favourite objects and artworks. Eager to share their passion and knowledge, our Guides favour a dialogue-based approach in which participants are invited to share their thoughts and impressions.
