Quebec and Canadian Art

The MMFA’s Quebec and Canadian art collection is exhibited in a unique display spanning six floors that celebrates the history of a rich heritage. Discover nearly 500 works, from the colonial era to the 1960s and 1970s, a prolific period for Quebec and Canadian painting.

Discover the collection through the eyes of one of our guides, who will lead you on a tour of some of their favourite objects and artworks. Eager to share their passion and knowledge, our Guides favour a dialogue-based approach in which participants are invited to share their thoughts and impressions.
