EducExpo - Transformation

What is an EducExpo?

Throughout the year, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts presents EducExpos, educational exhibitions on social themes that are developed in collaboration with many school and community partners. EducExpos showcase the talents of those taking part in them, who draw inspiration from the Museum’s artworks. Admission to them is free at all times.

Who is it for?

Absolutely everyone! Created by young—and not-so-young—people from every community, the works shown as part of this program vary throughout the year according to particular themes and collaborations.

Where do these exhibitions take place?

Go to the J.A. DeSève and the Promenade in the Jean-Noël Desmarais Pavilion to discover the creations resulting from the encounters and experiences that are part of these Museum projects.

The Fairy-Tale Fresco

Launched by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Montreal Hooked on School program, this project gave twelve elementary school classes on the Island of Montreal the chance to explore oral traditions and storytelling.
