Plunge into the captivating world of Kent Monkman through iconic and monumental paintings by this major Canadian artist and member of ocêkwi sîpiy (Fisher River Cree Nation).

THE TORLONIA COLLECTION
MASTERPIECES OF ROMAN SCULPTURE
Starting March 14, 2026

This is the final stop before this iconic collection heads back to Italy! These extraordinarily life-like works are from the world’s largest private collection of ancient Roman sculptures, amassed during the 19th century by Alessandro Torlonia (1800-1884).

OF THE DECORATIVE ARTS AND DESIGN PAVILION

Discover the brand new presentation of the MMFA’s decorative arts and design collection. Spread over 2 levels and covering some 2,000 m², this unique re-installation shines a light on over 600 years of creativity and imagination.

ART FROM THE CONFEDERACIES OF THE GREAT LAKES AND RIVERS
Starting November 29, 2025

The MMFA’s transformation continues with the fresh redesign of the Claire and Marc Bourgie Pavilion’s fourth floor. This space will welcome temporary exhibitions dedicated to re-examining the history of Quebec and Canadian art through works from the Museum’s collection.

PORTRAITS OF AGING, 1951-2004

Dive into the art of Richard Avedon, with a selection of his most arresting and powerful photographs. Bringing together nearly 100 portraits of cultural luminaries, Immortal is an unflinching exploration of aging from one of the 20th century’s most influential photographers.

The Museum membership is actually designed to offer maximum flexibility and access to many exciting discoveries. Take advantage of our rich and varied program, including new exhibitions every season.

Have you ever wanted to try one of the courses offered at the Museum’s School of Art? As a Member, you’re eligible for a discount when you register. You’ll also enjoy reduced rates on lectures at the MMFA and films at the Cinéma du Musée.

On average, two or three visits are enough to make membership more advantageous than purchasing single admission tickets. Membership also includes benefits such as exclusive invitations to cultural events.

The Museum is an ideal destination for weekends in Montreal. In addition to exploring our vast collections and current exhibitions, you can take advantage of our many family activities designed for all ages, or take one of our guided tours for an in-depth discovery of the Museum’s treasures.

And a cultural outing to the Museum is the perfect way to spend a rainy day!

Of course! Membership packages include a SOLO or DUO option, perfect for your visits and cultural outings. Whether you’re visiting with another person or with the family, admission is free for children and young people aged 25 and under (residing in Quebec).

Yes. Members get to experience the Museum in a special way thanks to perks such as exhibition previews, lectures and Members-only Friday evening events offering performances and refreshments.

* Purchase a membership by November 31, 2025 and obtain a 10% discount on your chosen one-year membership or a 15% discount on your chosen two-year membership package. This offer cannot be combined with another promotion.

¹ Maximum 10 people per membership. Proof of age may be required. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
² Proof of age may be required.
³ The DUO membership provides admission to a maximum of two adults, the TRIO membership provides admission to a maximum of three adults, and the QUATTRO membership provides admission to a maximum of four adults. On their arrival at the Museum, guests must be accompanied by a Member bearing a card in their name.
