Museum Access

Public Transit = Fast, Easy & Green!

The STM Unlimited Evening Pass entitles its holder to an unlimited number of transit rides from 6 p.m. in the evening to 5 a.m. the next morning.

With the STM Family Outings Programme, up to five children under the age of 12 can travel for free on weekends and legal holidays when accompanied by an adult with a valid fare card.

All of our pavilions are equipped with access ramps for wheelchairs. You can move around without any problems through the exhibits of the Museum. Access for guide dogs is allowed in public areas and showrooms. Wheelchairs are available to the visitors at the cloakroom of the lobby. Please note that there are two places of parking meters reserved for “disabled” permit holders on the Avenue du Musée

Admission to all exhibitions on view and the collections is free for all persons with reduced mobility and their caregivers.

Museum access policy:
visitor accompanied by an animal

Animals are not allowed in the Museum. Only service and assistance dogs are authorized. The Museum may request signed proof given by a physician or health professional from visitors accompanied by dogs. Owners are responsible for their dogs’ behaviour. The Museum reserves the right to ask visitors and their animals to leave the Museum if security directives are not observed.
