• The tour of the pavilions is approximately 1.5 hours long and is led by Museum Volunteer Guides, who will (re)acquaint you with the collection.
• The Museum’s School of Art workshops are also 1.5 hours long to give participants ample time to immerse themselves and experiment with the creative techniques.

It’s entirely up to you! You can choose to do the guided tour, followed by a workshop or the other way around. For example, you could participate in a workshop from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and then take the tour from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

And if you’re short on time, don’t worry, you can always select just one of the activities.

• The guided tours depart from the Salon, located on the 2^nd floor of the Jean-Noël Desmarais Pavilion. You can get there by taking the elevator or staircase located just past the lobby.
• To participate in the workshops, go to Level S1 of the Jean-Noël Desmarais Pavilion, where a member of our staff will direct you to the appropriate studio.

We kindly ask that you show up on time to ensure the smooth running of the workshops.

The MMFA’s School of Art offers hands-on visual arts classes to the general public that are taught by experienced artist-educators.

Designed for all skill levels, these classes allow participants to learn the basics or hone their skills right in the heart of an internationally renowned museum.
