Rules for the use of images
The distribution, publication or reproduction of the images and videos on this site are for media use only. They cannot be used for commercial purposes. Furthermore, their use must pertain directly to the collection, exhibitions, activities and/or news of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. All other use of said images and videos is strictly prohibited without prior consent. The images must be reproduced in their entirety, without cropping, bleeding, folding, overprinting or any other alteration whatsoever. Prior consent must be obtained for any request for distribution, publication or reproduction that deviates from this rule. The distribution, publication or reproduction of each image or video must be accompanied by a complete caption and credit, including the photo credit, where applicable. Please contact the MMFA’s Media Relations team for all questions or requests.

Media visits
During Museum hours, access to the MMFA’s exhibitions and collections is free for members of the media bearing an accreditation card in their name, issued by a recognized professional organization. All other requests for media accreditation must be submitted by email to presse@mbamtl.org.
