Planned Giving Opportunities with the MMFA

Not at all—anyone can make a planned gift! Planned giving is not so much about the amount you give as it is a gesture of commitment to a cause you care deeply about. Your planned gift can be tailored to your means and philanthropic goals. For some people, that may be a $1,000 donation; for others, it could be $100,000 or more. Every donation—no matter how big or small—helps contribute to the Museum’s future.

That’s a myth! More and more young adults are interested in planned giving. According to a recent study, 44% of respondents said they were interested in including a donation in their will.* Most of them were under the age of 50! It’s not your age that matters; it’s your desire to support a cause that is dear to your heart, regardless of what stage of life you’re at.

Not true! Donations made by will or of a life insurance policy can be changed at any time. You have every right to revisit your decision, should your personal circumstances or priorities change. Even if you have no intention of changing your mind, you can enjoy the peace of mind, knowing that you can alter your donation or include other organizations at some point!
