2025 Museum Ball

The 65th edition of the Museum Ball will be held on November 8, 2025. Part of the Museum’s major fundraising campaign The Museum Transforms Lives, the MMFA Foundation’s prestigious annual fundraiser is presented by IG Private Wealth Management.

You can book your table now by filling out this online form.

Evening theme

Taking place under the theme of freedom – freedom to be, to love and to create – this 65th edition of the Museum Ball will pay tribute to the major exhibition Kent Monkman: History is Painted by the Victors, opening at the MMFA in September. Quebec and Canadian art will also share the spotlight.

Guests from all walks of life, who share a love of art and a commitment to supporting culture, will gather in the Museum’s magnificent banquet halls, where they will be able to admire specially selected works from the Museum’s collection.

Guest Chef

Chef Timothy Charles will curate the fundraising event’s menu. Chef Charles is the Executive Chef at Fogo Island Inn, which was recently awarded three MICHELIN Keys.

It’s an incredible honour to be invited as guest chef for the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts fundraiser ball. The menu we are contributing is a brilliant opportunity to share the unique culinary story of Fogo Island—one firmly set in tradition, community, and the icy water of the Labrador current. I’m thrilled to bring a taste of our island to this inspiring celebration of culture and creativity.

Why support the MMFA

Because the Museum is a non-profit organization, it greatly depends on the support it receives from its community. It is one of the city’s major attractions and literally transforms lives through its awe-inspiring and thought-provoking exhibitions, its art therapy and community engagement initiatives, and its world-renowned collection.
