Vivianna Torun Bülow‑Hübe, often called Torun, was a jewellery artist acclaimed for her fluid and organic designs. The large pendant of this collar necklace drapes over the shoulder of the wearer and the smaller rutilated quartz stone around the neck. Torun believed that jewellery should flatter and move with the body, remaining timeless whether worn at age seventeen or eighty‑seven. She graduated from Stockholm’s university for arts, crafts and design in 1948, and lived in various places over her lifetime: Sweden, France, Germany and Indonesia.
