Decorative Arts and Design

Neeslant – John Cross was one of the most prolific silversmiths of his era, and his work has greatly influenced successive generations of artists. While respecting certain conventions of Xaayda art, such as the formlines delineating and linking design elements, he developed his own style. The outline of the eyes and the U-shaped teeth seen on this bracelet are typical of his work.
