Welcome to The Museum’s School of Art – Youth Program!
In light of the ongoing pandemic, the Museum's Education and Wellness Division is pleased to offer, for the first time, online art workshops for young people! Our art workshops will be presented on the Zoom platform (link to come). Each session will be recorded and all of the recordings will be accessible to registrants for the entire following week.
Please note that the School of Art – Youth Program workshops are only offered in French. However, all our instructors are bilingual and able to accommodate English-speaking participants. Specialized materials needed for each workshop are provided and will be mailed to you during the week of June 21. Basic materials you should have at home for the courses are listed in the downloadable PDF.

Portraiture is a fantastic way to express yourself! These classes offer a real introduction to several ways of visually representing the face. You’ll have an opportunity to perform various exercises, from realistic to imaginative drawing. Your figure compositions will develop through experimentation with different processes and materials!

Cancellation policy: Registrations cancelled before June 18 will be refunded in full, subject to a $50 administration and materials fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after this date unless they are due to exceptional circumstances. In such cases, only a fee of $15 will be retained for materials shipped, which remain non-refundable.
Workshops that do not have a minimum of five participants by June 18, 2021 will be cancelled. We accept a maximum of eight participants per workshop.
